Say hello to little Miss Sophie!
Sophie came in via the inspectorate in July. She had been living on a residential property and spent her life confined in a large garage with 8 other dogs of various ages.
She had also had several litters of pups during that time.
Sophie suffers from anxiety, her lack of socialisation outside of the garage she lived in is a result of her not being able to see the outside world as she should have.
She’s just 4 years old.
Yesterday was her day to leave RSPCA Burwood, collected by foster mum Judith with a quick pit stop in to me for a new collar and ID tag, gosh this doll is absolutely gorgeous! And on to foster mum Vanessa where Sophie is already settling in well.
We have a vet visit in a couple of weeks to check Sophie’s recent dental sites, she definitely needs to shed a couple of kilos! and hopefully we’ll get her booked in for a nice hairdo sometime next week.
Our thoughts as to her breed? We’re going with Maltese, possibly crossed with a Westie. Whatever her breed she is the prettiest chunky chops I’ve seen in a long time!
Welcome Sophie 🌸
