Our feisty little man Benny’s training is a work in progress.

He has a few triggers that are being addressed, and with our commitment to him and the way he handles certain things in life, we’ll continue to do everything possible in order to make sure he has the best chance of being able to find his own family.

It’s obvious that in his previous home he was very much allowed to do what he wanted without any boundaries to guide him in what is acceptable behaviour.

Being a small dog with a big attitude is not something that should be taken lightly – it’s oh so easy to think this tiny dog is super cute and therefore shouldn’t be trained to play nicely, as was the case in Benny’s past. Imagine if this was a large breed exhibiting the same behaviour, you could see how things would turn very ugly, extremely fast.

The fact is Benny needs to learn how to behave in a respectful manner in order for him to be able to be rehomed.

We’re 90% of the way there, just a little way to go to get to the end goal 💙
