Update from Dr Kathryn, Isabella’s Vet Specialist:

Just a quick update to let you know that Isabella is stable at the moment. She seems much more settled with her mild sedative on board. Our ECC team will keep a close eye on her overnight and contact you if they have any worries.

At the moment Isabella has a severe obstruction of her nose causing her to be unable to get air through either nostril. While she can still pant, this is causing significantly increased respiratory effort and distress with a risk of progression upper airway obstruction and the need for a temporary tracheostomy tube to allow her to breath past this. In good news, her breathing has stabilized in hospital and we will continue to actively monitor her overnight to ensure she remains stable prior to her CT and further investigation tomorrow to help identify the cause and extent of her upper airway disease. She is an absolute sweetheart and has been the perfect patient this evening. She already has all our nurses wrapped around her little paw!

Thank you for your prayers and donations for Isabella, if you are able to help us with any amount, however small, we’d be extremely grateful ♥️
