The plan is to monitor him for one month, we’ve put his adoption listing on hold for the time being, and if he has any further seizures we’ll start him on medication – there is a possibility the rapid onset of cluster seizures could have been due to some sort of toxicity, but at this stage we’re not completely sure. Dr Millie has recommended no anti-seizure medications for now, we don’t want to start him on medication he may not need. We have to hope it was a one off issue, but if not Bert will obviously receive whatever medical care is necessary 🩵
