Faith is recovering well after having 7 teeth removed last week, and her sweet little smile is already looking brighter.

Unfortunately, the lump found along her mammary line is more concerning. On Monday, Faith will undergo a mammary strip surgery (unilateral mastectomy). This is a significant procedure where the entire chain of mammary glands and surrounding tissue on one side of the abdomen is removed, sometimes along with nearby lymph nodes. It’s usually required when there are multiple mammary tumors or one that needs a very wide excision.
