Tess had her vet check yesterday and we know her dry eye will require lifelong medication.
She remains extremely quiet, which is completely understandable given her background – progress for this timid little lady will be taken in baby steps. We know Tess’s journey will be a long one, and like the other Bichons who came to us from the same place, she is very wary of the world around her.
One thing Tess does love is her food, and she’s already gained some much-needed weight. She also finds comfort in the security of her bed, her safe place where she can quietly observe the comings and goings of her foster family while she slowly learns that she is safe and loved.
Please cheer Tess on as she continues her journey – with patience, kindness and time, we know her world will begin to brighten 💕
