Our beautiful senior man, Spartacus, has had quite the case of the itches!
A quick trip to the vet and some medication later, and he’s already feeling so much better.

Spartacus truly is the most gentle soul, settling in beautifully with his foster family and soaking up all the love and comfort of being part of a home, something we think he hasn’t had for a very long time.

His foster family say; He’s doing so well, and it’s been such a joy watching his personality slowly unfold. We heard him bark for the first time yesterday, he’s mastered the dog door (and even figured out how to open doors — clever boy!), and he’s met the dog next door. He’s even starting to play, though it’s clear he’s still learning what play really means — starting off excited, then stopping as if unsure what to do next.

It’s these little moments that remind us how special fostering is — watching a once-uncertain soul begin to rediscover joy 🧡
