Sweet Tess Update 💛

Our precious girl Tess has developed a little infection along her suture line where her mammary lumps were removed. She’s now on antibiotics, and we’re keeping a close eye on her while we wait for her pathology results. Fingers crossed for the best possible outcome for our brave girl.

The good news is that Tess’ facial nerve paralysis and inability to blink after her TECA (total ear canal ablation) surgery has resolved! This means one of her eye medications can be stopped — such a relief and a little step forward for her comfort.

Tess will probably always be a very quiet soul. Her past was so cruel, and the shadows of that life still linger. But she’s safe now, loved deeply, and we hold onto hope that one day she’ll find the peaceful, gentle home she truly deserves 💛
