Beautiful Bert 💙

A couple of months ago, Bert was adopted — but sadly, it wasn’t quite the right fit, and his family made the decision to surrender him back to us.

It’s never easy when things don’t work out, but sometimes the journey to “happily ever after” takes a few detours. In just a few days back in his loving foster home, we’re already seeing that familiar sparkle returning to Bert’s eyes. ✨

Soon, Bert will be ready to look for his forever family — one that includes another small, friendly dog (that’s a must for our boy).

For now, we’re letting Bert set the pace, giving him all the love and reassurance he needs until he’s ready to tell us he’s ready 💙
