Ricci has been adopted!

Some dogs arrive in rescue with a clear idea of what they need — and for Ricci, it was simple: a quiet home, a gentle rhythm, and one special person to call his own. A boy who loves long naps, sudden zoomies, and little adventures to the park.

And he found exactly that.

We’ve had the most beautiful updates from his new mum, Rachel:

“He’s such a cuddly little boy and we are already very bonded. This week he’s been into work with me, met more friends (canine and human), been on car rides and has been an absolute champ. His cheeky side is starting to come out — more zoomies and the occasional stolen sock 🤣
Buck came back last night and they are settling back in together. Still a little way to go, but we’re dedicated to putting in the time.
I’ve decided to call him Zenko due to his foxlike appearance. In Japanese folklore, Zenko are ‘good foxes’ — messengers of the gods who work hard to improve themselves. They’re playful, occasionally mischievous, yet always kind. It felt perfect for his old-soul nature.”

From Ricci to Zenko — a new name, a new life, and a family who already love him for exactly who he is.

Congratulations to you both. We wish you all the very best in this beautiful new chapter 🧡✨

Thanks to foster mum Robyn for her wonderful work with our little man x
