We hate saying this, but we truly need more foster carers.
At the moment, dogs are missing out on help because we simply don’t have enough homes to take them in.
Our vets are located on the Mornington Peninsula, and as a small charity, we rely on using our own vets to keep costs manageable.
If fostering isn’t an option for you, sharing our posts can still make a huge difference.
🚗 We Can’t Drive Without You! 🐾
At Sweet Paws, our foster carers are the wheels that keep us moving — without them, we simply couldn’t do what we do. They are the bridge between a dog’s past and their brighter future, and right now, we’re looking for more incredible people to join our foster family.
If you’ve ever thought about helping a dog in need, fostering is one of the most rewarding ways you can do it.
What We Provide:
• All bedding and walking gear (harness, lead, collar, and ID tag)
• Food and supplies
• All vet bills covered (at our approved vets with prior approval)
What You Provide:
• A safe and loving indoor home
• A warm bed and lots of TLC
• Patience and time to help them adjust — this can include toilet training and learning basic commands
(Some of our dogs haven’t had the best start, so we’re giving them a fresh one.)
We’re Looking for a Variety of Homes:
• With a sociable dog who can be a calming and playful companion
• Without other pets
• With or without cats
Location Requirements:
You’ll need to be able to travel to one of our partnered vets on the Mornington Peninsula:
Mount Eliza, Mornington, Dromana, Rye, or Rosebud

❤️ If you’re ready to be part of something truly life-changing — for you and for them — please reach out. We’d love to chat about how fostering could work for you.
Let’s give more dogs their second chance together 🐶
