George is… well, let’s just say he’s a very different dog in foster care.
He’s so much more confident and far more relaxed. Still a little shaky in new places, but there’s a definite spring in his step on his walks now.
We’ve discovered he’s absolutely terrified of thunder — during a recent storm he tucked himself safely under foster mum Cheryl’s bed until the early hours. Once it all passed, he hopped up onto the bed for some much-needed comfort and sleep.
No accidents inside at all; he just wants to stay close and away from sudden noises.
He’s loving his walks morning and night, and he happily hops in the car for trips to help feed the horses.
Today George is off to our wonderful team of groomers for a pamper, and tomorrow he’s booked in with our vets for his dental work — another step forward for this sweet boy.
We’re really hoping George’s future holds a lovely, quiet home with a chilled doggy companion by his side 🩵
