After almost three months in his adopted home, Spartacus has been surrendered back into our care. We kindly ask for no judgement as we welcome our sweet little man back into foster care with his original carers, where he is safe, loved and familiar.

Sparty has already reclaimed his rightful spot on the couch like he never left – It’s clear how comfortable he feels being back, and that means everything to us.

The good news is he’s returned relatively toilet trained, with only one little wee inside yesterday (which we fully expected as part of settling back in). He’s booked in for a grooming session and will see our vets tomorrow for a thorough health check.

Aside from being very overdue for a haircut and needing to shed a few kilos, Spartacus is well in himself. He is still dealing with his ongoing skin condition and itchiness, but he is happy, settled, and enjoying being back with people who know him well.
