Our sweet girl Andie recently had her vet check and dental, and while she was under anaesthetic, the vet noted that her spleen felt firmer than expected on palpation. X-rays showed that her spleen is larger than normal, so to be thorough, she’s now booked in for an ultrasound to better understand what’s going on. At this stage, it’s simply about gathering more information, and we’ll keep everyone updated as we learn more.

On the brighter side, Andie continues to blossom in foster care 💛

She had her first go on the lead yesterday, and let’s just say she wasn’t overly impressed 😅 So we’ll be taking things slowly and gently to help her build confidence at her own pace.

At home though, she is really starting to shine. Andie is now loving snuggling up on the couch and even joining her foster family on the bed — something that once would have felt impossible for her. Her confidence moving around the house is growing each day, although she can still be a little unsure with loud noises from time to time.

And the sweetest update of all… she’s now enjoying cosy bed snuggles with her foster brother Davis 🐶💕

It’s so special to watch her begin to feel safe, loved, and truly at home 🤎
