Meet Barkley 🤍

The fourth of our Poodle crosses rescued from an intensive breeding facility, Barkley is 9.5 years old and the sweetest little man. Since arriving into care, he’s settled in beautifully with foster mum Jo and his two foster fur siblings — already showing us his gentle, loving nature.

Barkley has had his vet check and is currently being treated for very itchy legs. Sadly, all of the Oodles from this intake are dealing with similar skin issues — a clear sign of the neglect they’ve endured. These dogs spend their lives producing puppies, yet so little, if any of that profit is ever spent on their wellbeing.

Despite everything, Barkley is taking it all in his stride. He’s safe now, cared for, and finally getting the attention and comfort he’s always deserved.

We are, as always, incredibly grateful to RSPCA Victoria for helping these beautiful souls out of their situation and onto a path of healing.
