Sweet Mabel 🤎

Our beautiful girl is still fighting ongoing yeast infections in her ears and feet — something so common in dogs who haven’t had the care they deserve. It’s another 10 days of drops, cleaning, and close monitoring, but Mabel doesn’t complain. She never has.

She is the definition of resilience.

Despite everything she’s likely been through, Mabel is nothing but gentle, loving, and trusting. No resentment, no fear — just quiet sweetness and a willingness to love again.

This is the reality for so many dogs coming from neglectful situations. The things we can treat — the infections, the discomfort — they’re only part of the story. What stays with them longer is the lack of care they once knew, and the patience it takes to show them they’re finally safe.

Mabel is safe now. She is cared for. And she is so, so loved.
