When he came into our care almost 12 months ago, we truly believed we were bringing him home for palliative care — expecting only a few short weeks together. But Jordy had other plans.

Here he is, still living, still loving, and still soaking up every moment life has to offer. His favourite ritual? Warm baths in the kitchen sink — his own little slice of comfort and joy.

Recently diagnosed with a heart condition and now showing signs of dementia, Jordy’s journey isn’t without its challenges. But what hasn’t changed is the incredible love and dedication surrounding him every single day.

Adored by his foster family, Jordy is a gentle reminder that life — even in its later chapters — is so very precious. Our seniors deserve dignity, comfort, and all the love in the world during their twilight years… and Jordy is getting exactly that 💫
