Sid… or as he was once known, “Spicy Sid” 🌶️

In just three short weeks, this little man has shown us that labels don’t define a dog — and “spicy” is certainly not who he is.

Sid is just a baby, born into a puppy farm and later seized by the inspectorate at RSPCA Victoria. After time in the shelter receiving care, assessment, and treatment for his medical needs, he made his way into our care… and that’s when his real story began.

He first arrived with foster mums Kelly and Tina, where his initial uncertainty led us to believe a solo dog home might suit him best. But Sid had other plans — he was missing something. His pack.

That’s when foster parents Giulia and Bill opened their home and hearts, welcoming Sid into their crew… and everything changed.

Sid is thriving. Truly thriving.

He runs with the pack, confidently explored the big wide world on his first walks, and happily follows his pack leader (aka foster dad Bill!) wherever he goes. He’s discovered the joys of good food, cosy sleeps on the big bed, and being part of a family. And let’s be honest — with those handsome looks and cheeky puppy antics, he has everyone completely smitten.

While Sid still carries the scars of his past — living confined in a barn without natural light — we know healing takes time. But with every day that passes, he is showing us just how resilient he is. The future is bright for this little guy.

Yesterday was vet check day, and Sid received the big green tick of approval ✅
(And between us… we think our lovely vet, Dr Andrew, may have fallen a little bit in love too.)

And really… who wouldn’t be? 💛
