Some dogs steal your heart the moment you meet them, Ollie is one of those dogs.
When Ollie first arrived in foster care, the world was a scary place. Having missed out on important early socialisation, he wasn’t sure who he could trust. But with patience, kindness and consistency, he’s shown us just how much he wants to love and be loved.
Today, Ollie is a cuddly little companion who loves curling up beside his people, soaking up the sunshine in the garden, enjoying his meals and spending time with his canine friends. He’s happy to share treats, settles beautifully in the car and has become a much-loved member of his foster family.
Like many dogs with his past, Ollie can still be a little vocal and will occasionally grumble or growl when he’s feeling unsure. His forever family will need to continue his positive training and understand that he’s simply communicating how he feels. With gentle guidance and clear boundaries, he continues to grow in confidence every day.
Ollie could happily live with another friendly dog or be the centre of someone’s world, as long as he has a family willing to let him settle in at his own pace. In return, you’ll gain a loyal, affectionate companion who will reward your patience with endless love.
