🌭 950+ SAUSAGES, 30KG OF ONIONS & ONE VERY STINKY GARAGE! 😂

Yesterday we absolutely smashed it at our Bunnings Sausage Sizzle fundraiser, selling more than 950 snags! 🌭👏

And let’s rewind to Friday afternoon… when Sean and Carole peeled and sliced 30kg of onions. Yes… 30 KILOS. 😂

Our garage still smells like onions. I’m not even sure that smell is ever leaving.

But was it worth it?

A resounding YES! ❤️

Because every single cent raised goes straight back into Sweet Paws Dog Rescue to help us care for the dogs in our care. And that makes all the onion tears, sore feet, BBQ smoke and questionable garage smells completely worth it. 🐾❤️

A HUGE thank you to our incredible team who gave up their Saturday to make it all happen.

🔥 Sean – our BBQ Captain!
The man who has this whole operation running like a well-oiled machine. Leaving home at 6.30am to collect the day’s supplies and set up everything we need. Sean, we honestly couldn’t do it without you. ❤️

🌭 Our morning team:
Richard and Martin, our BBQ cooks. We know how hard you worked and we appreciate you being there and supporting us.

And Bren, our man on the money! 💰 The guy we call every time we have a BBQ… which, to be honest, is every BBQ! 😂 Thanks Bren, you’re a star!

🌭 Our afternoon team:
Den and Sean No.2 — the team who keep on giving! The laughs continue while the sausages keep cooking. We absolutely love the fact you two can multitask quite so spectacularly! 😂

Carole, normally Den’s partner in crime on the cooking show, was promoted to taking orders and money… and you rocked it! 👏

And Summer, our youngest team member, who was constantly replenishing the food as fast as we could sell it. It’s so lovely to see younger people willing to give up their time to support charities they care about. ❤️
