Anyone who’s ever had a Cavvie will know just how incredibly sweet and gentle they can be, and our beautiful Freddie is showing us exactly why this breed is so loved.

It hasn’t taken long for Freddie to realise that he’s safe, and he’s settling beautifully into life with foster mum Jo and her little pack.

He’s loving the attention, sleeping snuggled up with his new buddies and soaking up every cuddle he can get. In fact, he’s made himself so comfortable that if there’s any room left on the bed, Jo might even get a tiny sliver to sleep on!

Freddie has had his vet check and is booked in for a dental next Monday. Unfortunately, his groom had to be cancelled when we discovered a very severe flea infestation, but that’s now been treated, he’s been wormed and we’re getting him back to feeling his absolute best.

Next week is a big one for our boy — dental and then, once he’s ready, a much-needed groom. After that, Freddie will be ready to take the next step and find the family who will love him for the rest of his life.

For now, though, he gets to simply be a dog. To sleep somewhere warm and safe, have a full tummy, make new friends, get all the cuddles he wants and learn just how good life can be.
