** Ruffles is looking for her new home 💕
Ruffles is a 6.5yr old Cavalier x Jack Russell girl who is pretty sure life is all about squeaky toys, belly rubs, good food and her favourite person!
She is what we like to call a true shadow dog. Wherever you are, she wants to be. Following you from room to room, curling up beside you on the couch and soaking up pats is pretty much her idea of the perfect day.
She absolutely loves her humans and because of that, she’s looking for a home where someone is around most of the time. She really is happiest when she has company.
Ruffles also loves her food… perhaps a little too much! she is currently aiming to lose weight, around a kilo or just over, but Ruffles herself thinks she looks fabulous just the way she is!
The big wide world can be a little overwhelming for this girl, and she can become quite excitable when she sees other dogs or people. For that reason, she’ll be happiest with a family who is happy to take things at her pace and choose quieter places for walks where she can feel safe and relaxed.
She’s also a fan of relaxing music 🎶 — apparently a little calming soundtrack helps Ruffles unwind!
She knows some basic commands including sit, stay and come, although when she’s very excited, she may need a little reminder. She’s a pro with her doggy door and is making great progress with her toilet training too.
Ruffles isn’t looking for a busy lifestyle or someone who expects perfection from day one. She needs patience, consistency, a peaceful home and someone who genuinely wants a little companion who will happily follow them around and be their constant sidekick.
Give her that, and you’ll have a very loyal little girl who will repay you with plenty of love, cuddles and companionship.
