Today our very special senior boy turns 17, and we couldn’t be happier to celebrate him!

Jordy came into foster care with weeks to live. This little man had other plans, and with the love and care of his foster parents, Giulia and Bill, he’s been proving everyone wrong ever since.

Here’s Giulia’s message this morning 😊

*”Good morning all, as most of you know we have a permanent foster boy Jordy that had weeks to live. This little man had a different agenda. Yes, it was touch and go for a week or so, then he started to eat a bit more, settle a bit more, till finally he was healthy, running around, going on walks and started loving life again.

That was 16 months ago, and today he celebrates his 17th birthday!!!!!

He is totally blind in one eye, and has poor sight in the other, no teeth, and sleeps most of the day, but is happy.

He now requires a halo to help him navigate around our home and not bump into things.”

Jordy, you are a true inspiration and a reminder of how much love and a soft, safe place to land can change a life. Thank you, Giulia and Bill, for giving him the golden years he deserves.
