How could we say No to this sweet and sassy little girl!
I’d like to introduce you to Bessie….
Bessie is a 5 year old JRT x Maltese, she suffered a pretty horrific dog attack and spent almost 6 weeks at the RSPCA Burwood shelter being cared for while she recovered from her injuries.
Bessie had presented to an emergency vet clinic where her owner requested she be euthanised, thankfully the vet wasn’t comfortable carrying out the request due to Bessie’s injuries being treatable, so an owner surrender to the council and from there on to RSPCA for medical attention.
Today was freedom day! Foster mum Judith, after dropping Barney off to the clinic drove straight from Mornington to Burwood, and from there on to new foster mum Kerrie.
We are so grateful to the team at RSPCA for their amazing care of little Bessie, and we look forward to seeing this traumatised poppet blossom in the care of her new temporary! home 🌸
