Sophia’s Health Update 💛

Sophia recently underwent an ACTH stimulation test to investigate possible Cushing’s disease. While her blood levels have dropped, they’re still sitting on the high side – but she’s not showing any clinical signs of the disease, which makes things a little unclear. To be thorough, we’ve scheduled an ultrasound for Friday to help rule out any underlying issues like liver disease or adrenal tumors. It’s possible that Sophia simply has elevated blood levels without any actual disease, but we want to be certain there’s nothing more serious going on beneath the surface.

On a brighter note, Sophia is settling in beautifully with her foster family! She’s enjoying life, playing with her foster siblings, and making the most of all the love and attention coming her way.
