Owen is a 4-year-old male Miniature Schnauzer with a distinguished look and an even more distinguished personality.
If you’ve ever wanted a loyal little shadow with expressive eyebrows and a heart of absolute gold — Owen is your man.
🚗 Car rides? A+ passenger.
🚽 Toilet trained? Of course.
🛏 Bedtime routine? Settles beautifully unless nature calls.
✂️ Groomer & vet visits? Calm, polite, total professional.
Owen is the perfect mix of gentleman and goofball-in-training. He loves being near his humans — whether that’s snuggled beside you on the couch or supervising your daily activities from a cozy nearby spot. Belly rubs are considered mandatory.
He hasn’t been tested with children or cats, so we’re looking for an adult home where he can continue to grow in confidence. Owen does have a little leash reactivity, but he’s already making lovely progress with patient guidance. He’s also wonderfully unfazed by fireworks, thunderstorms, and wild birds — a steady little soul in a noisy world.
He can feel a bit unsure when left alone, but he’s learning that independence isn’t so scary. With routine, reassurance, and love, he continues to blossom.
And here’s the exciting part… Owen has recently discovered TOYS. 🎉
Stuffed toys, balls, dog bones — especially fun if there’s another calm dog in the home to show him how it’s done. Watching him figure out play is honestly the sweetest thing.
He thrives on routine, will need brushing and grooming every 6–7 weeks (those Schnauzer good looks don’t maintain themselves), and is currently on a special diet of Prime SPD Wild Boar & Pumpkin to keep his tummy happy — bonus: his meals double as training treats. Smart boy!
