Sometimes the smallest dogs have the biggest journeys ❤️
Mia’s story began in the saddest of ways — she was found dumped at a train station in a carrier, alone and frightened. From there she entered the pound system, where her future was uncertain.
Thankfully her story didn’t end there.
Mia came into foster care with Sweet Paws Dog Rescue Inc, where she was given the time, love and patience she needed to feel safe again.
And today we are so incredibly happy to share the news…
Mia has been adopted! 🎉
She has joined a wonderful home where she now has a brother named Spot, and the two have quickly become the best of friends. Seeing dogs who once faced such uncertain beginnings settle into happy homes is truly what rescue is all about.
Of course, these happy endings wouldn’t happen without our incredible foster carers. The love, patience and encouragement they give their foster dogs is what helps them learn to trust again and prepares them for their forever homes.
A very special thank you to Carolynne and Tristan for opening their hearts and home to Mia. The difference you made in her life is clear to see, and the end result speaks for itself.
From a carrier at a train station,
to a couch, a family, and a brother to share life with.
This is why we do what we do.
Every dog we rescue relies on the kindness of our foster carers, adopters and supporters to help them reach their happy ending.
Please drop a ❤️ below to wish Mia a beautiful life with her new family, and feel free to share her story so more rescue dogs can be seen.
