Wednesday also brought the arrival of Andie — rescued from the same hell hole as Maggie and our yet-to-be-introduced tiny Chihuahuas.

Like the others, she arrived completely shut down and frightened, though she has been quietly tolerating some gentle handling and interaction. It’s likely going to be a long road ahead for her.

As with so many puppy farm survivors, Andie is at risk of a range of untreated issues — ear infections, skin conditions, and countless other things that have simply been ignored. These dogs aren’t cared for… they just survive. How, we’ll never truly understand.

They’ve lived without kindness, without comfort — treated as nothing more than money-making machines.

Watching a dog retreat in fear from human touch is utterly heartbreaking. It brings a deep sadness for what they’ve endured, and an overwhelming anger towards the absolute scum who put them through it.

But today isn’t just about where Andie has come from — it’s about where she’s going.

We’re here to welcome her, and her life is about to change forever.

A huge thank you to RSPCA VIC for shutting down yet another house of horrors, and for the care they’ve already provided — both medically and emotionally — to these dogs.

Andie is booked in for a vet visit on Monday, and for now, she’s beginning to soak up the love with her foster family ♥️
