Sid is now looking for his forever home. 🤎

Sid has had a very unsettled start to life.

Born into a puppy farm, he spent the beginning of his young life in a mud pen inside a barn, with no natural light and very little exposure to the world most dogs know. Because of that, many everyday things are still new to him. He is learning every day, but he needs patient, committed adopters who understand that trust, confidence and progress will take time.

Once Sid feels safe, he is a very affectionate little man. He forms lovely bonds with his people, enjoys sleeping on the bed, and quietly likes being close by.

He gets along beautifully with other dogs, both large and small, and we feel a calm, confident, playful canine companion will be very important for him in his new home.

Sid uses puppy pads and will also toilet outside when he has easy access. He can be a little nervous around food and prefers to eat when left alone, but settles well when given space.

He travels beautifully in the car and is excellent when visiting the vet.

Walking is still something Sid feels unsure about. For that reason, we strongly recommend no walks until his new family has built complete trust and he feels fully secure in his environment.

Sid is looking for a calm, understanding home with people who can continue gently showing him how to live his best life.

Sid’s ideal home:
• No children
• No full-time workers
• No apartments
• Untested with cats
• A home with a playful, sociable dog — non-negotiable

Sid is not a ready-made dog. He is a young dog who missed out on the kind of start every puppy deserves. He needs people willing to continue his training, build his confidence and celebrate the small wins.

For the right home, watching Sid discover safety, comfort and happiness will be something very special.
