🚨 We need more foster carers. 🚨

At Sweet Paws Dog Rescue, our hearts are always saying yes to dogs who need help, but without foster carers, our hands are tied.

Right now, we have dogs such as Cece waiting for a safe place to land. Dogs who need a chance, dogs who need time to recover, decompress and learn what a loving home feels like.

Every foster home means we can say yes to another dog in need ❤️

When you foster with Sweet Paws, you provide a safe and loving home while we take care of the rest.

🐾 We cover approved veterinary care, surgeries and medications.
✂️ We organise and pay for grooming.
❤️ We provide support and guidance throughout your foster journey.

All you need to provide is a safe home, patience, love, transport to appointments, and updates on how your foster dog is settling in.

Please note: foster carers need to be able to transport dogs to our veterinary clinics on the Mornington Peninsula or Burwood East, as well as grooming appointments on the Mornington Peninsula when required.

No previous fostering experience? That’s okay. We’ll support you every step of the way.

Our foster carers are such an important part of each dog’s journey. They help us understand each dog’s personality, needs and what type of forever home will be the perfect match.

To ensure all adoptions follow the same fair process, foster carers are required to foster a minimum of two dogs before becoming eligible to adopt through Sweet Paws.

We are a small, volunteer-run rescue, and every dog we save starts with someone opening their home.

Could you be the person who helps change a dog’s story?

📩 Send us a message to find out more about becoming a Sweet Paws foster carer: sweetpawsdogrescue@gmail.com or preferably fill out and submit the application form ⬇️
