💕 Meet Ruffles 💕

Ruffles is a gorgeous 6-year-old Cavalier x Jack Russell Terrier who has recently come into our care after things didn’t quite work out in her previous home.

She’s a little character, and we’re only just getting to know her. Ruffles can be quite vocal and reactive when something worries or excites her, and she has definitely learned a few behaviours along the way that she thinks work pretty well for her!

There seems to be some anxiety sitting underneath some of her reactions, so we’re going to take things slowly, give her some time to settle and get to know her properly.

Ruffles is very people-focused and enjoys being with her humans. She can react to other dogs when out and about, but she is also capable of recovering and settling once she realises everything is okay.

She has also shown some resource guarding around toys, something we’ll be working on with her and learning more about as she settles into her foster home.

Ruffles has now had her vet check and is safely tucked away in foster care, where she can start getting used to the good life.

For now, there’s no rush.

We want to give Ruffles some time to decompress, see more of her personality and work out what makes this little girl tick before we start thinking about what her perfect future might look like.

Once we know a little more about her, she’ll soon be looking for her forever home.
