(And you’ve just been told your foster family have officially adopted you!!)

Cece came into our care via RSPCA Burwood after her owner was hospitalised and sadly there was no one who could care for her.

When Cece arrived at RSPCA, she really needed some help. She was underweight, had awful teeth, itchy skin and ears, and a mammary mass that needed attention. She also has some age-related reduced vision and reduced movement in her right hind leg, likely due to arthritis.

RSPCA took care of her initial vet work, and once Cece came into our care, we continued with what she needed, including getting her dental work done.

And look at her now…..!

Her teeth are sorted, she’s feeling so much better and, best of all, her foster family have officially adopted her!

Carolynne and Tristan took this little senior girl into their home and, somewhere along the way, Cece decided she wasn’t going anywhere.

We are so happy that this is where Cece gets to spend her days — safe, loved and very much part of the family.

Carolynne and Tristan, thank you for giving Cece something that every dog deserves — a home where she can simply be loved for who she is.

After everything this little girl has been through, knowing that she will spend her golden years surrounded by people who adore her, in the home she now knows as her own, means the absolute world to us.

Sometimes the older dogs don’t need much… just someone to see them, love them and give them a place to belong.
