💕 WELCOME TO SWEET PAWS, LILY 💕

Sometimes life takes a turn that nobody sees coming, and through no fault of their own, our much-loved dogs find themselves with nowhere to go.

Meet Lily, a gorgeous 12-year-old girl who has sadly lost the life she has always known. Her elderly dad passed away and, with her mum now moving into a nursing home, Lily was left without a home of her own.

Lily was adopted from RSPCA Victoria as a puppy, and after all those years of being part of a family, the thought of her having to enter a shelter in her senior years was heartbreaking.

We received a call from RSPCA Victoria asking if Sweet Paws could help Lily avoid going into the shelter, and of course, our answer was YES!

Our wonderful foster mum Jo made the drive to collect Lily and welcome her into her home, and judging by the daily updates, this lovely girl is settling in like an absolute dream.

We know Lily has been through a lot of change in a short space of time, so for now, the most important thing is giving her time to settle, feel safe and work out that she’s going to be okay.

At 12 years old, Lily deserves all the comfort, kindness and love we can give her. We’re just happy we could be there when she needed us.
